Book Cover Redesign

Nicholas Sparks is known for his best selling novels about romance and heartbreak. This design was strongly inspired by the common theme in all three books; love letters and heartbreak. I wanted to recreate the love letter and use it as a design element for each of the three novels. The color scheme of blue is used to represent the sadness that takes part in each of the novels. I also wanted to create this effect of layers by dy-cutting the front layer of the cover, revealing the handwritten note underneath. Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, Scanning
